Sheriff Sourdough was about to finish his daily rounds after he had a cool brew from the Pumpernickel's Saloon when he heard at clamor at the front. Heavy footsteps and a mean growl carried over the air like the hot summer air. Sourdough knew that the bear had returned. The furry beast had last been seen hightailing it out of Toasty Trails with nothing but a simmering and cruel sun on his back. Sourdough slammed the polished bar with his fist, knowing that his day just got worse than when the Bagel Banditos stole his horse...
